Quadratic Equation
Here are a number of great videos for you to watch to help you with your relearning process
before you come in to retake your assessment. Please make sure to note that you do not
need to watch the whole video for each. If the video goes into more complex information
then what you are required to know I noted the time you should stop so you don't get
confused.

3rd Trimester Test Retake Change:
The retake policy for 3rd Trimester will be changed to look a little closer to the typical retake policy at the high school in the math department.
*Score a D or IL the highest you can get on a retake is a C.
*Score a C the highest you can get on a retake is a B.
*Score a B you can try for an A.
I want to stress the importance of being prepared for the test the first time!!

Current Topic of Study
Data Analysis and
Probability Chapter 12
Students will
keep considering:
·
How can collecting and analyzing data
help you make decisions or predictions?
·
How can you make and interpret different
representations of data?
·
How is probability related to real-world
events?
Students
will learn:
·
To describe a data set by using measures
of central tendency.
·
To examine samples and conduct surveys.
·
To make predictions based on the data
collected and observed.
·
To organize data in displays such as
frequency tables, histograms and box-and-whisker plots.
·
To compare theoretical and experimental
probabilities.
·
To find probabilities of simple events
and compound events.
